The Miss Austria of the year 2000 is also not for many Unknown: The now 34-year-old Innviertlerin from Eberschwang works as a TV presenter and fitness trainer. With the victory at that time, she has fulfilled the "girl's dream of becoming a model."

Born in Linz, she has remained loyal both to her homeland and to the industry (at least for a while). Schachermayer, whose name was Josef Schachermayer Hackl before her wedding to entrepreneur, brought the title to Upper Austria in 2004 and "got stuck in the business," she says.

For many years she was managing director of "Miss Austria Corporation". "Of course, the title has brought me many contacts and opportunities," says the 35-year-old. "You grow up fast." Currently, the mother of a five-year-old enjoys a break and wants to learn English and Spanish – "and travel a lot".
