It seems like a very long time ago when I started watching Netflix’s new viewing sensation , but it wasn’t even a week ago – anyway when I saw this scene of getting himself prettied up in the morning in the first episode way back when I watched it I remember thinking to myself, “See this is what the excess television we have now is good for – for allowing a fine actor and an underrated dude like David Harbour to get to lead a show and even get to be a little bit sexy while doing it.”

Anyway I flew through the rest of , primed by this opening scene to always keep an eye out for good shots of Harbour’s butt in his police pants (there are several; the show doesn’t disappoint), but by the time I got to the end I was so swept up in the awesomeness of the show that I forgot I needed to circle back and give love to this early moment.
